Healthcare Attendant (5days work)

- To provide physical assistance to passenger on wheelchair and ensure safety during transportation.

- Daily collection of transport fees.

- Other job assigned by supervisors.

Working day: Monday to Friday

Working time: 8.00am-5:30pm

Required OT: 7.00am-8.00am

Responsibilities:

- To assist the driver in transporting clients - mainly elderlies & people with physical disabilities - from point to point as scheduled by the transport office

- To take care and ensure safety of our clients when on board our vehicle

- To submit monthly report to supervisor

- Daily collection of transport fees

Accountabilities:

- To respect the privacy and dignity of service users at all times

- To keep the Coordinator informed as to the progress of set activities

- To work closely with the transport operation staff in session planning and implementation

- To assist in plan of fixing and confirming clients' schedule and appointments

- To inform senior staff on site immediately should any injury/emergency occur

- To accurately and legibly record care delivered in service user's care plans and therapy notes as appropriate and in a timely fashion

- To attend team meetings as directed by the coordinator

- To attend training as identified by the coordinator

- Physical assistance to clients:

1. Transferring and lifting clients' to wheelchair

2. Help the client when they attend hospital/polyclinic visits

3. Help to perform translation, when needed

- Any other duties assigned by supervisors

- To attend basic medical course: Whampoa
