Position Overview

As the APAC Learning & Development Lead, you will design and execute the regional capability-building agenda that accelerates business growth. This role shapes leadership, talent development, functional capability, onboarding excellence, and future-skills readiness across a rapidly scaling, innovation-driven consumer business.

You will partner closely with HR team and business leaders to build an integrated L&D ecosystem that is scalable, and meet APAC local market needs.

Responsibilities

Leadership Development & Talent Pipeline

  • Design and deliver leadership development programs for first-line leaders through senior leaders.
  • Lead succession planning development actions and create targeted pathways for high-potential talent.
  • Introduce and manage talent programs.
  • Drive a coaching and continuous-feedback culture across the region.

Functional Capability Building

  • Identify functional capability gaps and build academies (Sales Excellence, Marketing, Digital, Supply Chain etc.).

Talent, Culture & Onboarding

  • Enhance onboarding experience across all APAC markets for faster ramp-up.
  • Embed company culture, values, and leadership behaviors into all learning journeys.
  • Support talent reviews and partner with HRBPs on individualized development plans.

Program Design & Delivery

  • Develop or curate learning content.
  • Facilitate key sessions and manage regional vendors and curriculum partners.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with country HR leads, business leaders for excellent execution.
  • Influence leadership to prioritize learning and people capability investment.

Data, Insights & Impact

  • Track metrics such as capability lift, program adoption, completion, engagement, and onboarding KPIs.
  • Use data and feedback to continuously refine programs.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of L&D experience, including regional responsibilities.
  • Strong track record in designing and delivering leadership and functional capability programs.
  • Experience supporting high-growth, fast-paced organizations.
  • Skilled facilitator with strong instructional design capabilities.
  • Proficiency with digital learning platforms (LMS, LXP) and blended learning methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management across diverse APAC cultures.
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution ability.
