ASSISTANT MANAGER

Job Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to support management in overseeing daily business operations, manpower coordination, customer relationships, and operational performance. The role involves assisting with planning, staff supervision, resource allocation, and implementation of company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in planning and managing daily operations to ensure smooth business workflow
• Coordinate manpower deployment, work schedules, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency
• Supervise supervisors and operational staff to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks
• Monitor staff performance, attendance, and productivity to maintain high operational standards
• Manage customer relationships by handling client enquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Monitor service quality and enforce adherence to company standards and procedures
• Assist in preparing quotations, business proposals, and identifying new business opportunities
• Review operational reports and provide actionable feedback to management for continuous improvement
• Coordinate communication and collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
• Assist in controlling operational costs and managing resources to support budget adherence
• Identify operational issues and support the implementation of corrective actions to resolve them
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workplace safety requirements
• Assist in conducting staff training, organizing meetings, and supporting performance evaluations
• Prepare reports and provide regular operational updates to management
