Pharmaceutical Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Technologist to support manufacturing operations within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. The candidate will be responsible for executing manufacturing activities safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved procedures, quality requirements and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, including activities such as dispensing, blending, granulation, compression, coating and filling.
- Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment in accordance with approved SOPs and manufacturing instructions.
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance activities to support reliable manufacturing operations.
- Complete batch records, logbooks and other GMP documentation accurately and contemporaneously.
- Conduct in-process checks, sampling and process controls according to approved batch documentation.
- Maintain production areas and equipment in accordance with GMP, housekeeping and contamination-control requirements.
- Identify, escalate and document process deviations, equipment issues and safety concerns.
- Support investigations and troubleshooting relating to manufacturing processes and equipment where required.
- Participate in equipment qualification, cleaning validation and other validation-related activities.
- Complete required GMP, safety and operational training and apply training requirements during day-to-day manufacturing activities.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and other cross-functional teams to support compliant and timely manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or another GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or production operations.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and routine production processes.
- Good working knowledge of GMP/cGMP requirements, SOPs, batch documentation and data integrity principles.
- Experience with deviations, in-process controls, equipment qualification and/or cleaning validation would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively within a regulated production environment.
- Diploma or Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or a related technical discipline is preferred.
