Huawei Infra Engineer

Job Description

• Design, implement, configure and maintain Huawei-based IT infrastructure and network systems.
• Perform installation, configuration, integration and commissioning of Huawei network and infrastructure equipment.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, identify potential issues and perform troubleshooting to ensure system availability and reliability.
• Support network infrastructure including routing, switching, firewalls, wireless and related ICT systems.
• Conduct system health checks, preventive maintenance and performance optimisation.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network connectivity issues and provide timely resolution.
• Support infrastructure migration, upgrade and expansion projects.
• Prepare technical documentation, configuration records, reports and project handover documents.
• Work closely with project teams, vendors and customers to ensure smooth project implementation and delivery.
• Provide technical support during deployment, testing, commissioning and post-implementation activities.
• Ensure infrastructure deployment complies with technical requirements, security standards and project specifications.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Networking or a related field.
• Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA), Huawei Certified ICT Professional (HCIP) or Huawei Certified ICT Expert (HCIE) certification in a relevant infrastructure/networking track.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering or related technical environments.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching and network troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Huawei network and infrastructure equipment is preferred.
• Experience in infrastructure deployment, configuration, testing and maintenance.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with project and technical teams.
• Good communication and technical documentation skills.
• Willing to support project deployment, maintenance or on-site activities when required.
