Job Summary

We’re looking for a Software Tester (Automation) to join a leading regional enterprise company. You will play a key role in ensuring software quality across desktop, web, and mobile applications, with a strong focus on test automation.

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, supporting functional and regression testing, and collaborating with business and IT teams to ensure smooth deployment of high-quality solutions.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field;
• Must have 3 years of software testing experience, with strong hands-on experience in test automation;
• Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca and automation script development;
• Experience in designing test cases and developing reusable automated test scripts;
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail);
• Experience in using SQL and basic scripting;
• Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and automation best practices;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
• Ability to collaborate effectively with analysts, developers, business users, and other stakeholders.

Desired Skill-set

• Tosca certification or experience with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, NeoLoad);
• Experience in automating web, mobile, and/or desktop applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca for desktop, web, and mobile applications;
• Develop reusable and modular automation scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage;
• Automate functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing based on business and technical requirements;
• Prepare test cases, test data, test artefacts, and Requirement Traceability Matrix for automation;
• Execute automated test scripts, analyse results, and identify and track defects through resolution;
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and business users to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage;
• Maintain test automation frameworks, scripts, and documentation;
• Support UAT and overall test activities to ensure timely delivery and smooth transition of tested solutions to production;
• Where required, provide guidance and support to other testers on automation practices and tools.
