Superfly Parkour Coach

Purpose of the Role

A Superfly Coach is responsible for creating safe, engaging and confidence-building movement experiences for students through the discipline of parkour.

While technical parkour skills are important, the primary responsibility of a coach is to develop students' confidence, resilience, physical literacy and love for movement.

The success of a coach is measured not only by what students can do, but by how students feel after every session.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver High-Quality Classes

• Conduct safe and engaging parkour lessons

• Follow Superfly lesson structures and curriculum

• Adapt lessons according to student age and ability

• Maintain high energy and enthusiasm throughout sessions

• Ensure every student participates and feels included

2. Safety Management

• Conduct site safety checks before sessions

• Monitor students continuously

• Enforce safety rules and standards

• Manage risks and modify activities when required

• Report incidents and near misses promptly

3. Student Development

• Encourage effort and perseverance

• Build student confidence through progressive challenges

• Recognise and celebrate individual improvements

• Support students who may be fearful, shy or struggling

• Foster teamwork, respect and positive behaviour

4. Parent Experience

• Take photos and videos during sessions

• Provide timely updates after classes and camps

• Highlight student achievements and progress

• Communicate professionally with parents when required

5. Operational Responsibilities

• Arrive early and prepared for classes

• Set up and pack down equipment

• Maintain equipment in good condition

• Submit attendance and administrative records accurately

• Follow company SOPs and operational requirements

6. Continuous Improvement

• Seek feedback from senior coaches

• Attend training sessions when required

• Improve coaching, communication and leadership skills

• Contribute ideas to improve programmes and student experience
