Job Summary

Manage accounting and administrative functions including financial closing, payroll, GST filings, and HR support to ensure accurate financial operations and smooth office administration.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly financial closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable data entry and conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate records
• Prepare monthly payroll including salary, overtime, and sales commissions to ensure correct employee compensation
• Maintain attendance and leave records to support payroll and HR processes
• Handle preparation and submission of GST tax filings in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage full set of accounts to provide comprehensive financial oversight
• Analyze financial data to support cost budgeting and optimize resource allocation
• Assist with monthly closing and financial operations to support accounting accuracy
• Collaborate with procurement to verify invoice accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Support all HR matters including recruitment and application of work permits to maintain workforce compliance

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficiency in using Xero accounting software to manage financial transactions and reporting
• Proficiency in using Carbonate software for administrative and accounting tasks
• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or a relevant field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in accounting and administrative roles
