About this job
Junior Buyer
- Creation of blanket purchase orders for long lead time items for direct materials
- Creation of purchase orders to suppliers to support production loading plan
- Follow up with suppliers on PO acknowledgement, delivery confirmation, and overdue deliveries to minimize supply disruption and ensure MRP system is updated accordingly
- Monitor material shortages, excess inventory, and potential supply risks, and escalate issues in a timely manner
- Monitor and track supplier On Time Delivery performance and Lead Time monthly
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in any field
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience
Location: East of Singapore
Salary: Up to $4K
