About this job
- Staff Management: Supervise and guide a team of beauticians, therapists, and stylists. This includes scheduling shifts, conducting performance reviews, and providing training on new techniques and product lines. They are also often involved in the hiring and onboarding of new team members.
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day salon activities, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all work areas, and maintaining salon equipment. They are responsible for monitoring and ordering inventory of professional and retail products.
- Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for client feedback, addressing any concerns or complaints with professionalism to ensure customer satisfaction and foster loyalty. They may also manage appointment bookings and promotions to attract and retain clientele.
- Financial Duties: Handle financial responsibilities such as processing client payments, managing cash flow, and maintaining records of daily sales and expenses. They may also be tasked with developing and implementing strategies to meet sales targets.
- Compliance: Ensure the salon adheres to all health and safety regulations and maintains the necessary licenses and certifications for its staff and services.
