ICT Security Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and support production security platforms, with a focus on the Elastic Stack.
• Design, deploy and maintain large-scale Elastic Stack environments.
• Manage data ingestion, indexing, monitoring and analytics.
• Support Kafka environments and related integrations.
• Perform Linux administration across RHEL/Ubuntu environments.
• Develop automation and scripts using Python or Bash.
• Implement automation and CI/CD processes using Ansible or equivalent tools.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot technical issues and drive continuous improvement.

SKILLS NEEDED

• 7+ years of overall professional experience, with 4–5 years of relevant experience in large-scale Elastic Stack environments.
• Strong production experience with the Elastic Stack is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Strong Linux administration skills across RHEL/Ubuntu.
• Minimum 2 years of Python or Bash scripting/programming experience.
• Experience with Ansible or equivalent automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and manage multiple priorities.
• Banking/financial services experience is an advantage.
