Accountant, S$5.5K, 6-month, Science Park

Job Scope:

Accounting activities (70%)

• Responsible for finance and accounting tasks
• Assist with daily finance operations (AP,AR,GL) to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of transactions.
• Provide support to the Finance Shared Service Team relating to transition projects, system migration and audit preparation.
• Support audit requests by retrieving documents and preparing schedules.
• Ensure compliance to accounting policies/internal control guidelines on all transactions

Payroll activities (30%)

• Payroll transition from current payroll vendor to new payroll vendor
• Daily review on employee expenses claims report (Concur SAP)
• Assist in reconciling historical data during system or corporate restructuring transitions.

Others

• Any other duties / ad hoc projects as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years in handling full set of accounts and n an international finance environment, shared service environment
• Experience in finance transition projects, process migration, and system implementation within a shared service environment
• Familiar with IFRS
• Experience in using SAP is a must and proficient in Excel
• Able to deal with people at all levels and work independently with minimum supervision

Additional Information:

• Salary – Up to S$5.5K per month
• Contract duration: 6-month contract
• Commencement Date: Immediate
• Working days and hours: Mon to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Location: Science Park, Capricorn Building
