Research Fellow

About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join our research team focused on advancing the frontiers of natural language processing and large language models. The successful candidate will conduct cutting-edge research while contributing to collaborative projects that bridge theoretical foundations with practical applications in AI and machine learning.

What You'll Do

• Conduct independent and collaborative research in NLP, LLMs, and/or speech processing, with emphasis on novel algorithmic development and theoretical contributions.
• Develop innovative approaches to problems such as multilingual capabilities, model efficiency, robustness, and interpretability.
• Publish high-quality research papers in top-tier conferences and journals (ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICASSP, Interspeech).
• Collaborate with faculty, graduate students, and industry partners on research projects.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research methodologies and technical skills.

Who We're Looking For

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computational Linguistics, or related field.
• Strong publication record in NLP, machine learning, or speech processing with demonstrated research impact.
• Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) and distributed computing environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to present complex technical concepts.
