Senior Finance/Accounts Executive

Job Description:

1. To verify vendor invoices, issue invoices, daily bookkeeping, bank and accounts related reconciliation, maintain accurate financial records and handling banking matters;

2. To timely prepare and submission of Management Report, Project Profit & Loss Report, Cash Flow Planning & Forecast, Annual Budget and other financial related reports as required;

3. To liaise with tax agent, timely prepare and submit all kind of taxes reporting, taxes filing and taxes payments to tax authorities;

4. To ensure all reports are prepared in complete and accurate manner in accordance to the Group policies, local accounting reporting standard and regulatory requirements;

5. To ensure closely follow up with client for timely AR collection and arrange prompt AP payment, Loan Repayment and other operating expenses which are due for payment and where applicable;

6. To assist on project financing application including compiling project information, prepare project cash flow and others related documents according to the business needs and bank requirements;

7. To control and monitor intercompany transactions and balances, trade and nontrade (AR & AP) transactions and balances, company cash flow and balance sheet items;

8. To coordinate and liaise with company secretary on corporate matters and ensure accurate and timely filing in compliance with statutory requirements;

9. To liaise with auditor and support the statutory audits to ensure timely completion of audit exercises.

10. To Undertake special assignment, ad hoc functions and related duties as assigned.

11. Available to start immediately.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent
• At least 5-8 years in related fields, preferably within EPCM, greenfield or major brown field semiconductor or microelectronics or pharmaceutical or life science industry
• Experience with project-based accounting
• Skilled in MS Office applications, ERP/Project Costing Software (e.g. SAP, IFS, IFCA or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of project/percentage-of-completion accounting, multi-currency consolidation and exposure to multiple statutory and regulatory frameworks (e.g. SFRS, IFRS and other local GAAP across Malaysia, India, EU, Japan and USA);
• Strong financial analysis and reporting
