Pest Control Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and certified Pest Control Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing vector control measures to prevent and manage vector-borne diseases in various environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and carry out vector surveillance.
• Apply appropriate vector control methods including fogging, larviciding, and residual spraying.
• Maintain records of control activities and findings.
• Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Report any environmental issues or potential vector breeding grounds.
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure effective execution of control programs.

Requirements

• Valid NEA Certified and Registered Vector Control Worker.
• Workplace literacy and numeracy proficiency in reading, listening, and numeracy.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in vector control.
• Must be able to work in various outdoor environments.
• Minimum Primary 6 education or equivalent.
