Are you an experienced manufacturing professional who enjoys leading teams, solving problems, and improving production performance? Join us as a Furnace Supervisor and help drive safe, reliable, and efficient furnace operations.

🏭 About the Role

You’ll oversee the daily operations of our Furnace section, ensuring production, quality, and delivery targets are met. You’ll coach and develop your team, maintain process and safety standards, and work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Process teams to drive continuous improvement.

🎯 What You’ll Do

⚙️Manage daily operations: Coordinate production priorities, manpower, and furnace batches to support downstream processes and timely delivery.

👥 Lead and develop your team: Provide hands-on coaching and cross-training, manage attendance and performance, and build a collaborative team culture.

✅ Maintain process and quality standards: Ensure compliance with work instructions and process specifications, monitor critical furnace parameters, and maintain accurate records.

🦺 Champion safety: Ensure operators are trained and authorized, uphold safe working practices, and maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards.

🔧 Support equipment reliability: Identify abnormalities, coordinate maintenance and breakdown recovery, and support troubleshooting and corrective actions.

📈 Drive improvement: Help reduce downtime, rework, scrap, and waiting time while supporting process optimization, automation, and production data initiatives.

🎓 What You’ll Bring

• A Diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Materials, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of manufacturing or production experience, ideally in heat treatment, sintering, or furnace operations.

• Preferably 5 years or more of supervisory or team leadership experience.

• Experience operating or supervising industrial furnaces is highly preferred.

• A good understanding of production control, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.

• The ability to interpret process parameters, production data, and technical documentation.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and people management skills.

• The ability to manage operational priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

💡 Knowledge That Would Be an Advantage

Heat treatment or sintering processes; temperature profiling and thermocouple management; root cause analysis, 8D, and CAPA; SPC; Lean Manufacturing and 5S; MES and production monitoring; occupational safety and risk assessment.
