Senior System Analyst, IT (SAP ABAP)

We’re looking to add a Senior System Analyst, IT (SAP ABAP) in Singapore. The position is based in our HQ at AngMo Kio.

As a Senior System Analyst, IT (SAP ABAP), you will:

To provide IT professional service to Venture group companies and Support day-to-day SAP ERP operations. Responsible for system governance, getting user’s requirements, system/design improvement, system development, and audit compliance.

• Ensure high quality of technical/program release including Data Dictionary objects, Reports (ALVGrid/List), Dialog Programming, Function Modules, Interfaces (RFC, ALE/EDI using IDoc), Data Conversion (LSMW, BDC, BAPI), Enhancements (BADI, BTE, UserExits), and Forms (SmartForms, SAPScripts).
• Take ownership of technical solution delivery for new business requirements and enhancements across various SAP modules, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP and external systems, including EDI/B2B interfaces (e.g., via BizTalk), by developing and maintaining robust interface programs.
• Guarantee the quality and completeness of technical deliverables, including unit testing, defect resolution, and support for user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices, including code quality, naming conventions, and transport management.
• Collaborate closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Act as a technical advisor in cross-functional project teams, contributing to planning, estimation, and risk assessment.
• Continuously identify opportunities for system and process improvements and proactively propose enhancements to increase efficiency and user satisfaction.
• Independently manage assigned development tasks and projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years hands-on SAP ABAP experience, fulllifecycle implementation will be advantageous.
• Good experience in ABAP Object Oriented Programming(OOP) Model.
• Have experience with ABAP Performance Tools in SAP.
• Have prior experience working with EDI / ALE andany middleware and B2B applications.
• Professional SAP Certification will be advantageous.
• Good proficiency in debugging ABAP objects
• Ability to articulate and communicate with people of all levels in the organization.
• Able to work independently and lead in projects.
• SAP ABAP experience is a must.
• Mature and strong team player with the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively at all levels.
• Self-motivated with initiative and drive.
