Job Description
- Manage the full spectrum of accounting activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, tax and intercompany transactions.
- Prepare timely monthly management accounts and financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Lead month-end closing activities and ensure financial records are accurate and compliant.
- Oversee tax reporting, statutory filings and audit requirements.
- Establish accounting policies, financial controls, approval workflows and reporting structures.
- Partner closely with senior management, shareholders and external service providers on financial matters.
- Support the setup and onboarding of new entities as the business expands.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience.
- Proven experience managing the full accounting cycle including AP, AR, General Ledger, intercompany accounting and month-end closing.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, statutory compliance and taxation requirements.
- Experience supporting audits and working with external stakeholders.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a growing business environment.
- Prior exposure to start-up, greenfield, joint venture or newly established business setups will be advantageous.
- Experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients, customers, or business stakeholders as part of the job responsibilities.
