AI Specialist
About this job
Job Summary
You will own the AI and automation layer supporting our advisory team by scoping, building, and running production systems. Collaborate with advisors to identify automation opportunities, assemble solutions using LLM and workflow tools, and maintain improvements amid evolving products and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Scope, design, and build AI and automation systems that support financial advisors in their workflows
- Develop and maintain a searchable knowledge base of financial products to enable efficient information retrieval
- Create workflows that generate structured product comparisons to streamline advisor decision-making
- Automate assembly of quotations and structured product data to reduce manual tasks
- Implement AI-assisted drafting tools for common client enquiries to accelerate response times
- Collaborate directly with advisors to analyze time usage and identify high-impact automation opportunities
- Assemble automation solutions using large language models (LLM) and workflow-automation tooling to improve efficiency
- Maintain and enhance automation systems as product offerings and regulatory requirements evolve
- Scope and coordinate with external developers for components requiring deeper engineering beyond tooling capabilities
- Ensure all automation follows a human-in-the-loop design where advisors review and own client-facing decisions
- Aim to reduce advisor drafting time from forty minutes to two minutes without removing human accountability
Requirement - Product or project ownership — 1–2 years taking something from unclear problem to shipped, adopted tool
- Hands-on experience with AI tooling — you have personally built with LLM APIs, RAG or workflow-automation platforms, not just managed people who did
- Workflow automation — n8n, Dify, Coze or similar low-code orchestration platforms
- Python or scripting — enough to handle data processing, PDFs and spreadsheets, and to read what a developer writes
- Process automation — scripted workflows across internal systems and authorised data sources (Playwright, Selenium or equivalent)
- Comfort with regulated work — willingness to design around compliance constraints rather than treat them as friction
- Reliable upward communication — you report progress, risks and blockers on time
