Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Procurement Executive (S3):
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess the organization's purchasing requirements for indirect materials.
- Manage the procurement of indirect materials and services, including equipment, machinery parts, fabrication parts, equipment calibration services, machinery modifications, and other related requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while negotiating competitive pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines.
- Serve as the key point of contact between suppliers and relevant internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to manage daily operational purchasing activities.
- Source, select, evaluate, review, and manage supplier performance to ensure quality and service requirements are met.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly cost-saving reports.
- Source, negotiate with, and evaluate prospective suppliers based on business and operational requirements.
- Manage Purchase Order (PO) issuance and monitor shipment status and delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Perform other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing; experience in purchasing machinery and parts will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Power BI will be an added advantage.
- Energetic, self-driven, and possess a positive working attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to speak and understand basic to intermediate Japanese will be an added advantage.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 4,200 + AWS + VB (1 - 2 Months)
- Working Location: Tuas
- Working Hours: 5 Days Work, Monday – Friday, 8:15am – 5:30pm
