Job Summary
You will assist in planning and delivering programmes for seniors, facilitate activities, support client engagement, maintain programme documentation, and coordinate with stakeholders to promote active and meaningful senior living.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing daily programmes and activities to engage seniors effectively
- Facilitate group activities, recreational programmes, exercises, games, and social sessions to promote client participation and well-being
- Organize festive celebrations, community events, outings, and special projects to enhance social connectedness
- Prepare activity materials, equipment, and set up venues to ensure smooth programme delivery
- Monitor clients during activities and provide assistance to ensure their safety and comfort
- Accompany clients during outings and external activities to support their participation and safety
- Maintain a safe, clean, and conducive environment for clients throughout activities
- Maintain accurate attendance records and programme documentation to support reporting and evaluation
- Support collection and analysis of feedback to evaluate programme effectiveness and improve future activities
- Liaise with volunteers, vendors, and community partners to coordinate programme-related matters and resources
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Centre Manager to support centre operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience in eldercare, healthcare, social services, community care, or event coordination is advantageous
- Willingness to learn and actively participate in programme planning and execution
- Physically fit to support activities and accompany seniors during outings when required
