About the opportunity

A well-established multinational group is looking to hire a Legal Counsel to support its regional business.

This is a good opportunity for a Singapore-qualified lawyer with 1 to 3 years of PQE who is keen to move into a broad in-house legal role covering corporate matters and commercial contracts.

The role

You will support the legal function on regional corporate and commercial matters, working closely with internal stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities

Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts and business agreements.

Support general corporate work, including corporate advisory, documentation and governance-related matters.

Advise internal stakeholders on day-to-day legal and commercial issues.

Coordinate with external counsel where required.

Help identify and manage legal and compliance risks across the region.

Requirements

Admitted to the Singapore Bar.

1 to 3 years of PQE

Exposure to corporate and/or commercial work.

Strong drafting, contract review and stakeholder management skills.

Commercially minded, practical and able to work independently.
