Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimation for ceiling works (gypsum, mineral fibre, metal ceiling, etc.)
• Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
• Source and evaluate quotations from ceiling subcontractors and suppliers
• Assist in tender submission and pricing strategy
• Administer subcontract packages, including contract preparation and award
• Monitor and evaluate progress claims from subcontractors
• Prepare and submit main contractor progress claims
• Manage and price variation orders (VO)
• Track project costs and ensure works are within budget
• Liaise with project team, consultants, and subcontractors for coordination (especially with M&E services)
• Prepare and finalize project final accounts

🎯 Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related field
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction (ceiling / interior works preferred)
• Strong knowledge of ceiling systems and finishing trades
• Familiar with Singapore construction practices and standards
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and measurement software
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
