Software Engineer

Our Company is working closely with a Prestigious Public Listed organisation in Singapore. Due to our dynamic expansion in projects, we’re seeking a highly motivated, talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable web and cloud-native applications. You will play an integral part throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design to implementation, deployment, and production support. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and has hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms, microservices architecture, containerization technologies, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using modern software development practices.
• Build and support microservices-based architectures for enterprise-grade applications.
• Design, implement, and deploy cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker, Azure Container Apps (ACA), and/or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Configure and manage Kubernetes workloads, including deployments, services, ingress controllers, autoscaling, secrets management, and monitoring.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and event driven solutions.
• Integrate applications using messaging and event-streaming technologies such as Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
• Ensure software quality through secure coding practices, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution for production systems.
• Collaborate closely with software developers, UX designers, business analysts, system analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and technology evaluation initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimally 2 to 3 years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience in one or more programming languages
• Experience in programing languages, such as C++, C#, Java, Angular, NodeJS and JavaScript RDBMS / MongoDB / PostgreSQL knowledge will be preferred.
• Understanding of software requirements, software development process, software debugging, software testing
• Good writing and communication skills
• Candidates with relevant working experience will have added advantages
• Have positive attitude and able to work as a team.
