Payroll Specialist (Retail MNC| UP3800 | Hybrid)

Duration: 1 year contract

Salary: Up to $3800

Working hours

Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 6pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of payroll administration and ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for approximately 300 to 500 employees.

• Process monthly payroll, including overtime, allowances, no-pay leave, expense claims, statutory deductions, and other employee-related payments.

• Submit NS Make-Up Pay, Government-Paid Maternity Leave (GPML), and Childcare Leave claims.

• Prepare overpayment recovery letters and manage payroll recovery processes for resigned employees.

• Prepare monthly payroll journals, reports, accruals, and cost allocations for Finance.

• Generate and distribute electronic payslips to employees.

• Handle tax clearance submissions, monthly CPF contributions, and annual income tax reporting.

• Participate in and support HR and payroll-related projects and process improvement initiatives.

• Respond to employee enquiries and provide support on payroll-related matters.

• Ensure payroll processes comply with company policies and statutory regulations.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high payroll volumes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.

• Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented with strong numerical accuracy.

• Team player with the ability to work independently when required.

• Willing to work overtime during peak payroll periods, including occasional weekends when necessary. Time-off will be provided during non-peak periods.
