SENIOR COOK

• Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to company recipes and quality standards.
• Plan and organize daily food preparation activities to ensure timely meal production.
• Supervise and guide kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking processes.
• Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation before delivery.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and stock rotation of food ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and report stock requirements to management.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, food hygiene, and company operating procedures.
• Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes when required.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a catering, restaurant, or food manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices.
• Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Able to supervise and coordinate kitchen operations and staff.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production schedules.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
