CARPENTER

Carry out general and finishing carpentry works.

Fabricate and install timber works, doors, frames, cabinets, partitions, furniture and other carpentry items.

Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and site measurements.

Take accurate measurements and calculate material requirements.

Cut,shape, assemble and install carpentry materials according to project requirements.

Carry out repair, rectification and maintenance works when required.

Operate carpentry hand tools, power tools and machinery safely and efficiently.

Ensure all works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

Maintain good housekeeping and comply strictly with workplace safety requirements.

Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on site.

Strong Requirements

Minimum 1 years of proven carpentry experience.

Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials and installation methods.

Able to read and understand technical drawings and construction details.

Skilled in taking accurate measurements and setting out works.

Competent in using hand tools, power tools and carpentry equipment.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to workmanship quality.

Physically fit and able to work at construction or project sites.

Responsible,hardworking, disciplined and committed to long-term employment.

Must strictly follow all Singapore workplace safety and site regulations.

Relevant trade qualifications, skills certification or construction experience will bean advantage.
