We are looking for a Primary Mathematics Teacher who is passionate about teaching and enjoys working with Primary school students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct engaging and effective Primary Mathematics lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus
- Provide individualised academic support and guidance to students where required
- Monitor students' learning progress and identify areas for improvement
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Communicate professionally with students and parents regarding students' learning and progress
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments and other teaching resources
- Contribute to curriculum development and improvement of teaching materials
- Participate in teacher training, departmental meetings, mentoring and professional development activities
- Support workshops, webinars, one-off classes and other academic programmes when required
- Contribute to centre initiatives and other reasonable duties assigned by Management
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mathematics, Education or a related field
- Singaporean or Singapore PR
- Strong understanding of the Singapore Primary Mathematics syllabus
- Must be educated in the Singapore education system
- At least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience is preferred
- Passionate about teaching and nurturing young learners
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Responsible, proactive and able to work independently as well as within a team
- Able to work at least one weekend day, with Sunday availability preferred
- Comfortable submitting a short teaching demonstration video based on a question provided by us as part of our screening process
Experienced teachers and candidates with strong tutoring experience are welcome to apply.
