COMPANY ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary

To ensure success, Accountants should be prompt, honest, detail-oriented, professional, and analytical.

Responsibilities

• Enter data accurately into accounting systems to maintain complete financial records and full sets of accounts
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and financial forecasts to support strategic business planning
• Generate periodic financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements, for internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with Singapore financial regulations, GST reporting requirements, relevant accounting standards, and internal control procedures
• Assist management in decision-making by preparing budgets and financial forecasts aligned with organizational objectives
• Communicate financial information clearly and effectively through verbal and written channels

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Proficiency in Xero Accounting Software
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills for managing accounting software and data systems
