Designer

We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Designer to prepare engineering drawings, designs, and technical documentation for manufacturing and project requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, project teams, production staff, and clients to ensure designs are accurate, practical, and suitable for fabrication and installation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engineering Design & Drafting

• Prepare detailed drawings and models based on engineering specifications.
• Develop fabrication, assembly, shop, and installation drawings.
• Convert concepts, sketches, and site measurements into detailed technical drawings.
• Revise drawings according to project requirements and engineering feedback.

2. CAD & Technical Documentation

• Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or other relevant CAD software.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), material specifications, dimensions, and cutting lists.
• Maintain accurate drawing records, revisions, and documentation.

3. Engineering & Production Support

• Work closely with engineers to ensure designs meet technical requirements.
• Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and suitable for manufacturing.
• Coordinate with production and installation teams to resolve design issues.
• Conduct site measurements and inspections when required.

4. Project Coordination

• Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Clarify technical requirements and provide design solutions.
• Ensure drawings are completed accurately and within project deadlines.

5. Quality & Compliance

• Check drawings for accuracy, dimensions, materials, tolerances, and specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards and project requirements.
• Maintain proper version control and documentation.
