Job Overview

FloraVee Fashion Boutique is looking for an experienced and commercially minded E-Commerce, Merchandising & Product Sourcing Manager to oversee our digital sales, social media marketing, product sourcing, procurement and retail merchandising activities.

The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of fashion and consumer trends and be able to identify products with good sales potential, source suitable merchandise from overseas suppliers, create engaging social media content and develop effective online marketing strategies.

This is a hands-on position combining fashion merchandising, product sourcing, social commerce, digital marketing, branding and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage FloraVee's brand identity and social media presence across platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book).

• Develop the brand's online personality/IP, content direction, visual identity and storytelling to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.

• Plan, create and coordinate social media content including product videos, short-form videos, promotional campaigns, product launches, livestream content and sales-driven posts.

• Manage social commerce activities and develop strategies to convert social media traffic into enquiries and sales.

• Monitor fashion trends, viral products, consumer preferences, competitor activities and emerging products suitable for FloraVee's target customers.

• Research and identify new apparel, footwear, accessories and fashion-related products with strong commercial potential.

• Source merchandise and suppliers from overseas markets including China, India, Vietnam and other suitable manufacturing or wholesale markets.

• Communicate and negotiate with manufacturers, wholesalers and suppliers regarding pricing, minimum order quantities, product specifications, samples, production schedules and delivery arrangements.

• Compare supplier quotations and evaluate products based on design, quality, cost, marketability and expected profit margin.

• Coordinate product sampling, product selection, ordering and procurement.

• Work with suppliers to develop or customise products, packaging and designs where appropriate.

• Monitor purchasing costs, landed costs, retail pricing and expected gross profit margins.

• Assist with inventory planning to ensure sufficient stock while avoiding excessive or slow-moving inventory.

• Analyse sales performance and recommend which products should be reordered, discontinued, promoted or replaced.

• Plan seasonal collections, promotional campaigns, product launches and sales events.

• Develop pricing, bundling and promotional strategies to improve sales and inventory turnover.

• Arrange merchandise displays and create attractive visual merchandising concepts for the boutique.

• Design and coordinate window displays, product displays, promotional materials, signage and in-store presentation.

• Ensure that the physical boutique and online platforms maintain a consistent FloraVee brand image.

• Coordinate product photography, videography and styling for marketing and e-commerce purposes.

• Prepare product descriptions, promotional copy, social media captions and other marketing materials.

• Manage online customer enquiries and support the sales process through social media and digital channels.

• Explore collaborations with influencers, content creators, livestream hosts, affiliates and other suitable marketing partners.

• Plan and execute digital advertising and promotional campaigns.

• Monitor campaign results including views, engagement, enquiries, conversion rates and sales performance.

• Use sales and social media data to improve product selection, marketing content and promotional strategies.

• Work closely with management on the overall growth strategy of FloraVee Fashion Boutique.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in fashion retail, e-commerce, digital marketing, merchandising, procurement, product sourcing or social commerce.

• Good understanding of fashion trends, consumer behaviour and online shopping trends.

• Experience managing social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and/or Xiaohongshu.

• Experience creating social media content, short videos or social commerce campaigns will be advantageous.

• Experience sourcing products from overseas manufacturers, wholesalers or suppliers is preferred.

• Strong commercial sense with the ability to evaluate whether a product has good market and profit potential.

• Good negotiation, communication and supplier-management skills.

• Knowledge of product costing, pricing, inventory management and retail margins is advantageous.

• Good sense of fashion styling, product presentation and visual merchandising.

• Familiarity with content creation and design tools such as Canva, Adobe applications or similar platforms is advantageous.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities including sourcing, marketing, merchandising and sales.

• Creative, resourceful, proactive and results-oriented.

• Comfortable working in a fast-moving fashion retail and social-commerce environment.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will have an advantage:

Fashion merchandising and buying; overseas sourcing and procurement; TikTok or social-commerce sales; Xiaohongshu marketing; livestream commerce; fashion content creation; influencer marketing; e-commerce operations; retail visual merchandising; supplier negotiation; product development; or fashion brand management.
