Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and oversee the daily operations of the wholesale and retail business.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Supervise and coordinate staff to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
• Manage inventory, including stock checking, ordering, receiving and storage of fruits.
• Conduct quality checks, grading and classification of different types of fruits.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, hygiene and operational standards.
• Assist with loading and unloading fruits, including durians and other heavy cartons weighing at least 60kg.
• Perform general cleaning duties, including wiping tables, clearing durian shells and disposing of waste properly.
• Assist with other operational duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the food, fruit wholesale or retail industry.
• Good knowledge of different types of fruits, including fruit quality, grading and classification.
• Experience in wholesale/retail operations, inventory management and customer service will be an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting of cartons weighing at least 60kg.
• Willing to work long hours, including late nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Willing to work in the East Area of Singapore.
• Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and supervise staff effectively.
