What You Will Do

As an Engineer II, Cloud Infra & DevOps, you will manage and optimize the organization's cloud infrastructure and IT operations, ensuring secure, reliable, and highly available services. You will perform cloud operations, infrastructure maintenance, monitoring, deployments, incident management, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service reliability.

Key Tasks you will be involved in

Manage and Maintain Cloud Infrastructure

  • Manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including tenant administration, system monitoring, patching, and operational maintenance.
  • Support change requests, deployments, incident managements, service requests, and production operations.
  • Perform technology refresh to ensure systems are secure and up to date.
  • Ensure implementation of monitoring and alerting for all critical systems and infrastructure resources.
  • Provide L1/L2 operational support.

24/7 Operational Support and Incident Management

  • Provide 24/7 support to ensure system availability and operational stability.
  • Monitor infrastructure alerts and system health to proactively identify and address issues.
  • Troubleshoot incidents and coordinate timely resolution with teams and vendors.
  • Manage production incidents, maintenance, and escalations within SLAs.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and resolve cloud, system, SFTP, and application issues across environments.
  • Conduct incident investigation, RCA, and preventive actions.
  • Analyse logs, alerts, and events to identify issues and bottlenecks.
  • Troubleshoot issues to ensure to timely restoration of services and ensure stability.
  • Maintain documentation and incident records for tracking and improvement.

Access Governance, Audit and Compliance Support

  • Manage user access, reviews, and privileges per security and audit requirements.
  • Support audits, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives.
  • Ensure proper provisioning, access control, and recertification.
  • Maintain SOPs, documentation, and operational records.
  • Enforce security best practices and regulatory compliance.

Cloud Operations Support

  • Manage SFTP/file transfer operations and batch job monitoring to ensure successful, secure, and reliable data exchange.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot file transfers, batch processes, and workflows.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for issue resolution and operational support.
  • Handle incidents and service recovery for file transfer and operational platforms.
  • Contribute to automation and continuous improvements initiatives.
  • Maintain procedures and documentation.

Building Automation Workflows

  • Build and integrate automation workflows to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency, where applicable.


This role might be for you if you have:

  • Training in Information Computer Science or any related engineering courses.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Certification in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900), Azure Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300) and DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
  • Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure cloud administration, including compute, storage, networking, monitoring, security, and cost optimization.
  • Good knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration, SFTP/file transfer platforms, batch job monitoring, and production operations support.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, resilient, secure, and cost-optimized cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiar with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support complex production issues, critical incidents, and after-office-hours activities.
  • Audit, Compliance, Access Governance, Cloud Governance, and Operational Best Practices Expertise.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, partnering with application, security, infrastructure, and vendor teams while providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Ability to prepare, maintain, and update SOPs, technical documentation, and operational records accurately.
