Digital Construction Product Consultant – Junior

LeapThought is seeking for passionate digital construction product specialists to join our growing team of product evangelist to be at the forefront of this rapidly growing digitalization sector within the built environment industry. The ideal applicant is a highly motivated individual with an ability to make fundamental contributions to the fields of digitalization of construction sector.

What to Expect:

· You will be a member of an incredibly strong and passionate product evangelists and business development team with coverage of Southeast Asia.

· You will be a member of the team who are with domain experts from the Construction sector spanning qualified architects, civil, mechanical & electrical engineers.

· You will apply your knowledge and training in the built environment industry to solve industry challenge, push for our award-winning product and making improvements to the built environment as a whole.

· Work in across-functional team consisting of product managers, software architects, software engineers, DevOps, and other specialists.

· You will have opportunities to engage with customers to get first-hand exposure to real-world problems, challenges and opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Engagement and Needs Assessment: Understand client requirements by meeting with clients to understand their specific needs and challenges. Conduct needs assessments to evaluate current construction processes and identify areas for digital transformation.

2. Product Knowledge and Demonstration: Gain in-depth knowledge of digital construction products (e.g., BIM software, project management tools, digital twins). Provide live demonstrations and presentations to clients, showcasing how the products can benefit their projects.

3. Solution Design and Proposal: Design customized solutions that align with client needs and leverage the capabilities of digital construction products. Develop detailed proposals and presentations to communicate the value of the proposed solutions.

4. Implementation and Integration: Develop and oversee the implementation plan for integrating digital products into the client's workflow. Provide training to client teams on how to use the new digital tools effectively. Ensure the digital products are seamlessly integrated with the client's existing systems and processes.

5. Project Management and Monitoring: Manage the implementation projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. Monitor the performance and impact of digital solutions, making adjustments as needed to optimize results.

6. Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Gather feedback from clients on the effectiveness of digital solutions and identify areas for improvement. Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in digital construction technologies. Suggest new tools and processes that can further enhance efficiency and productivity in construction projects.

7. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and technical teams to ensure a unified approach to client solutions. Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on project progress and address any concerns.

8. Documentation and Reporting: Document all aspects of the project implementation, including client interactions, project plans, and progress reports. Prepare regular reports for clients and internal stakeholders to track the success of digital solutions.

9. Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with the implementation of digital products. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.

10. Sales Support: Assist the sales team with pre-sales activities, including attending client meetings and helping to close deals. Analyze market trends to identify potential opportunities for new business.

Requirements:

· Degree or Diploma in civil and structural engineering, M&E and architectural or related disciplines

· Excellent teamwork

· Good written and communication skills

· Must have a good understanding of Site Management, Project Management and or Design Management through a project life cycle

Good to Have:

· Worked in a team of10-15 people

· Intermediate knowledge in BIM will be advantageous

· Knowledge in Project management tools such as MS Project, or primavera
