Sales Executive (Freight Forwarding)

• Position: Sales Executive (Freight Forwarding)

• Location : Tampines Industrial Crescent

• Working hours : 5.25 working days, Monday-Friday 8:30- 5:30 ALTERNATE Saturday 8:30-12:30pm

• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Basic up to $3500 + Performance Bonus

• Duration : Permanent

• Industry : Freight Forwarding Industry

Main Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to prospective and existing clients.

• Build rapport with customers through phone and face-to-face communication.

• Promote freight forwarding and logistics services to customers.

• Prepare quotations, proposals and follow up on sales opportunities.

• Negotiate pricing, terms and service expectations with customers and vendors.

• Handle objections professionally and follow up to secure business.

• Coordinate with operations and pricing teams to support smooth shipment execution.

• Learn freight forwarding fundamentals, including Incoterms, air/sea rates and shipping documentation.

• Maintain accurate client, quotation and sales pipeline records.

Requirements:

• No prior freight forwarding experience required; training will be provided.

• Candidates with phone-based sales, telemarketing, customer service, appointment setting or client-facing experience will be advantageous.

• Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with new customers.

• Strong verbal communication, persuasion and negotiation skills.

• Resilient, target-driven and able to handle customer objections professionally.

• Interest in freight forwarding, logistics or global trade will be advantageous.
