b Description / Responsibilities:

• System Design & Documentation: Design, review, and implement electrical systems, circuits, and panel layouts while preparing and updating single-line diagrams (SLDs) and schematic drawings using CAD software. [1, 2]
• Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, consultants, main contractors, and internal cross-functional engineering teams to ensure project execution aligns with client specifications. [1, 2]
• On-Site Supervision: Supervise day-to-day on-site electrical installation, tracking progress against project timelines while enforcing stringent quality controls. [1, 2]
• Testing & Commissioning: Lead the testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and commissioning of electrical equipment and control systems. [1, 2]
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all electrical engineering installations strictly comply with EMA regulations, Singapore Codes of Practice (e.g., SS638/CP5), BCA guidelines, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) safety standards. [1]
• Technical Maintenance: Plan, execute, and monitor corrective and preventive maintenance programs to achieve safe and optimized equipment functionality. [1]

Job Requirements:

• Qualifications: Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Technical Proficiency: Competence in utilizing design software such as AutoCAD or EPLAN. Familiarity with PLC programming, motor controls, or relays is a distinct advantage.
• Regulatory Mindset: Strong understanding of local engineering standards, Singapore building codes, and safety protocols. Having a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) qualification is highly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage tight timelines under pressure, and demonstrate excellent communication skills to coordinate with diverse stakeholders. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
