Part Time Event Crew (Christmas Village @ Orchard Road)

Job Highlights:

We are looking for reliable and service-oriented Event Crew to support the smooth operation of our events. The role involves assisting with guest admission, welcoming and guiding guests, supporting attraction operations, handling basic equipment checks, and carrying out other event-related duties as assigned by the Event IC.

As the role involves standing and moving around for extended periods, candidates should be comfortable working in an active event environment and interacting with guests throughout the day.

Event Period: November 2026 to January 2027

Employment Type: PART TIME (weekday & weekend)

Pay rate: From $10.50/hr

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Support the daily operations of the attraction to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests.
2. Follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines for inflatables, carnival activities, rides, and other attractions.
3. Monitor inflatables, rides and/or carnival structures for signs of wear and tear, and report maintenance issues as needed.
4. Assist guests with the safe entry and exit of attractions and provide guidance on attraction rules where required.
5. Handle merchandise sales and process payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
6. Assist guests with inquiries feedback, and lost-and-found matters in a courteous and professional manner
7. Work closely with team members to support smooth daily operations and maintain service standards

Job Requirements:

1. Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
2. Good customer service and communication skills.
3. Able to work effectively as part of a team.
4. Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions, where required.
5. Able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, based on operational requirements.
6. First Aid certification or training would be an advantage.
