Head of Trading Venue Operations – APAC/ Trading Technology/ Production Support

We are looking for a senior Trading Technology / Production Support leader for our client to take ownership of a critical APAC support function for a leading global financial markets organisation.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead and develop a high-performing, geographically distributed Production Support / L1 team.
• Own the operational support model for critical trading platforms across APAC.
• Act as the senior escalation point for high-impact incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal business disruption.
• Partner closely with brokers, traders, desk heads, Product, Technology and senior business stakeholders.
• Drive collaboration across L1, L2 and Development teams.
• Improve incident management, service quality, operational processes and stakeholder experience.
• Champion AI, automation and data-driven operations to improve response times, accuracy, productivity and knowledge management.
• Build a scalable support model across multiple asset classes and platforms.

We’re looking for

✔ Senior experience leading Trading Technology, Production Support, Application Support or Technology Operations within Financial Services
✔ Strong understanding of Financial Markets, trading systems and OTC products
✔ Experience across at least one major asset class — Credit experience is particularly desirable
✔ Strong understanding of pre- and post-trade workflows
✔ Proven people leadership experience across geographically distributed teams
✔ Excellent stakeholder and incident-management skills
✔ A track record of driving operational improvement, automation and change
✔ Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment
