MOTOR VEHICLE MECHANIC

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles.

• Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical faults.

• Repair or replace defective or worn vehicle components.

• Carry out basic troubleshooting and testing using appropriate tools and equipment.

• Ensure vehicles are maintained in proper working condition.

• Maintain workshop tools, equipment and cleanliness.

• Follow workplace safety procedures and company requirements.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of motor vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair.

• Able to use basic automotive tools and equipment.

• Able to perform vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Responsible and detail-oriented with a positive work attitude.

• Willing to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when required.
