Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator will, under minimal supervision, be responsible for supporting and managing shipments within Drew Marine warehouse network, including international shipments. The Logistics Coordinator position can operate in a very international environment, both in the region and with colleagues in other locations. The position is ultimately responsible for the on-time delivery of products to Drew Marine’s satellite warehouses.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor full and empty gas cylinder movements between customers, warehouse and refillers.
- Inspect returned cylinders/products for discrepancies and report to the relevant network coordinator and follow up until closure.
- Maintain gas cylinder/local purchase products inventory in the warehouse.
- Maintain stock movement records and reconcile reports.
- Monitor stock level for empty cylinders and related products and raise purchase orders when replenishment is required.
- Process and maintain documentation and test reports.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel, refillers, suppliers, drivers, planners and network coordinators to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle product shortages complaint, wrong/short deliveries, damaged products and other discrepancies and report to the relevant network coordinator and follow up until closure.
- Handle import & and report to the relevant planner and follow up until closure.
- Handle procurement of warehouse materials and services.
- Assist with ad-hoc logistics activities.
Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain operations
- Familiarity with ADR transportation regulations
- Experience in dangerous goods logistics
- Proficient with all Office software products (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Must have excellent communications skills
- Must have strong listening skills
- Must have strong problem-solving skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, time-controlled environment; ability to multi-task
- Customer Service orientation
- Prior supply chain experience a plus
- Prior JD Edwards systems experience a plus (JDE planning program)
- Prior export experience a plus (basic documentation preparation and handling)
- Prior purchasing experience a plus (transactional)
