Key Responsibilities
Perform functional, regression, integration, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and end-to-end testing.
Prepare and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
Identify, document, track, retest, and follow up on defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Perform basic API testing using Postman and Swagger, including validation of RESTful APIs and JSON request/response data.
Support automated testing activities using Playwright and other relevant automation frameworks.
Collaborate with developers, project managers, system engineers, business users, and other stakeholders throughout the software development and testing lifecycle.
Support deployment verification, production validation, implementation, and operational readiness activities.
Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes, documentation, and quality assurance practices.
Key Requirements
Diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
1–2 years of relevant experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Knowledge and practical experience in manual testing, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, SIT/UAT, and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Ability to write clear and detailed test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, and test reports.
Exposure to Playwright, test automation frameworks, automated test execution, and test reporting is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs, Postman, Swagger, and JSON request/response validation.
Familiarity with test management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, TestRail, or Confluence.
Ability to work effectively with technical teams, business users, customers, and other stakeholders.
Experience with enterprise-scale, government, or mission-critical systems is an advantage.
Basic understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD testing environments is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and testing methodologies.
