Financial Analyst (Investment Research)

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research on listed companies, industries and relevant markets.
• Analyse financial statements, business performance, industry trends and key investment drivers.
• Build and maintain financial and valuation models, including earnings forecasts.
• Conduct securities analysis and assess investment opportunities based on permissible information sources.
• Prepare research reports and investment analyses, and present research views and conclusions to the investment team.
• Monitor portfolio-related companies and market developments and provide timely research updates.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in investment research, equity research, securities analysis or a related field.
• Strong financial statement analysis, financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Good understanding of equity markets and investment research, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Bloomberg, Wind, Capital IQ or similar financial databases is an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.

Position Scope

This role focuses on investment research and analysis. Portfolio management decisions and trade execution are undertaken by the Company’s authorised investment personnel.
