Primary 3 Science Tutor

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and structured Primary 3 Science lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus.

• Teach key Science concepts clearly and help students develop a strong foundation in Science.

• Guide students in applying concepts to school-based and examination-style questions.

• Prepare and use worksheets, lesson materials and revision resources to support students’ learning.

• Identify students’ learning gaps and provide appropriate guidance and practice.

• Mark assignments and provide timely feedback to help students improve.

• Monitor students’ academic progress and provide feedback on their learning when required.

• Encourage students to develop curiosity, logical thinking and confidence in Science.

• Maintain a positive, structured and supportive classroom environment.

• Work collaboratively with the teaching team to maintain consistent teaching standards.

Requirements

• Strong academic background in Science.

• Familiar with the Singapore Primary 3 Science syllabus and primary school assessment requirements.

• Prior experience teaching or tutoring Primary Science is preferred.

• Good command of spoken and written English.

• Able to explain Science concepts in a clear and simple manner.

• Patient and able to engage young learners effectively.

• Good classroom management and communication skills.

• Responsible, punctual and committed to students’ learning progress.

• Passionate about teaching and helping students build confidence in Science.

Preferred Qualifications

• NIE-trained teacher or relevant teaching qualification.

• Minimun GCE A-Levels
