Audit Assistant

Job Description

As an Audit Assistant, you will support audit engagements and assist in delivering high-quality assurance services to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and performing statutory audits for companies across various industries.
• Carry out audit fieldwork and testing in accordance with audit procedures and standards.
• Gather, analyze, and document audit evidence.
• Perform detailed verification of financial records, transactions, and supporting documents.
• Prepare audit schedules, working papers, and audit documentation.
• Assist in identifying audit issues and communicating findings to seniors and managers.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information and documents.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports where required.
• Support ad-hoc assurance, accounting, and special assignments as assigned.

Education & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates pursuing or intending to pursue professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CA Singapore, ICAEW) will have an added advantage.

Experience

• No prior experience required for entry-level candidates.
• Internship or prior audit/accounting experience will be advantageous.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
