About the Role

We are looking for a Product Director to lead our product and R&D functions and drive the development of our AI-powered products from 0 to 1.

This role will be responsible for shaping product strategy, building product infrastructure and processes from the ground up, and working closely with our R&D teams across China, Australia and Malaysia to turn business requirements into scalable, high-impact products.

You will work closely with the leadership, engineering, AI, business development and operations teams to define product direction, prioritize development and ensure continuous product improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall product strategy, roadmap and R&D direction in alignment with company goals.
• Drive the full product lifecycle from ideation, requirements and development to launch and continuous improvement.
• Identify market opportunities, customer needs and emerging AI technologies to develop innovative solutions.
• Translate business and customer requirements into clear product specifications and technical priorities.
• Work closely with engineering and AI teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Oversee product performance, user feedback, analytics and continuously optimize product features and user experience.
• Establish product development processes, priorities and performance standards.
• Lead, mentor and develop the product and R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and execution.
• Collaborate with Sales, Business Development and Operations teams to support product adoption and commercial growth.
• Stay up to date with developments in AI, automation, content intelligence and digital marketing technologies.
• Lead and collaborate closely with R&D teams across China, Australia and Malaysia, ensuring alignment on product strategy, technical development, project priorities and delivery timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in product management, technology, R&D or a related role, with experience leading product development teams.
• Strong understanding of AI, SaaS, software products, automation or data-driven solutions.
• Proven experience in developing and launching products from concept to production.
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
