Halal & Quality Control (QC) Officer

• Manage MUIS Halal certification renewals, maintain SOPs/documentation, and serve as the main point of contact for MUIS and audit bodies.
• Perform daily QC checks on incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure strict product safety.
• Conduct internal audits, lead investigations for any non-conformances, and enforce corrective action plans across operations.
• Work closely with Production, Purchasing, and QA/QC teams to uphold hygiene, traceability, and Halal integrity.
• Conduct internal briefing and training on Halal policies and standard GMP hygiene practices.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of QA/QC or Halal compliance experience in food manufacturing (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply).
• Familiarity with MUIS Halal certification, GMP, and HACCP is required; hands-on experience with FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000 is a strong advantage.
• Halal Competency Assessment (HCA) certificate is preferred.
• High attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and effective communication.
