Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

CHL Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a competent Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. What you'll be doing

• Preparing accurate estimates and cost plans for construction projects

• Analysing tender submissions and contract documents to identify potential risks and opportunities

• Negotiating and managing subcontractor and supplier contracts

• Monitoring and controlling project costs, including the preparation of financial reports

• Providing advice and support to project managers and other team members

• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures

• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals to resolve technical issues

What we're looking for

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field

• At least 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Singapore construction industry

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office applications

• Knowledge of construction contracts and regulations

• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
