Database Administrator (Oracle, Manufacturing)

• Manage and maintain Oracle database environments supporting critical semiconductor production systems, ensuring high availability, performance and data integrity.
• Monitor database health and capacity, troubleshoot incidents and performance issues, and provide Level 2 support including on-call coverage.
• Execute database installations, upgrades, patches, migrations and production changes, including failover, backup and disaster recovery testing.
• Maintain robust backup and recovery processes while supporting database security, audits, compliance and operational documentation.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve database reliability and minimise production disruption.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in Oracle Database Administration, supporting critical production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle architecture, database administration, performance tuning, backup/recovery and high-availability environments.
• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL, with working knowledge of Linux/Unix, filesystem management and Cron jobs.
