SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Looking for a Resident Engineer who will be responsible of delivering Oracle Linux Virtual Manager for the customer. Must have working and hands on knowledge and expertise of Oracle's technologies such as Oracle Linux and OLVM.

We are looking for a Principal Engineer who will be responsible for the installation, Configuration and Maintenance of Oracle's technologies and products. Must be proficient and have hands-on working experience on the following areas.

• Oracle Linux

• Oracle Linux Virtual Manager (OLVM) and Coriolis (if any)

• Intel x86 Servers

• Backup and Restoration

• Servers and OS Administration

• Servers Consolidation and Migration

Scope: Full time ResidentEngineer providing Oracle Linux and Oracle Linux Virtual Manager L2/L3 supportas follow.

1. The Oracle resource willwork 9am to 6pm on business days (Mon-Fri)

2. Applying of Oraclecritical patches for Oracle Linux Operating System and OLVM

3. Planning, migrating andmanaging OLVM

4. Perform all OLVM/systemactivities (related to Oracle Linux and OLVM) as required and requested.

5. Provide support for:

• VM template creation onOLVM

• OLVM design andconfiguration assistance.

• OLVM Support andtroubleshooting assistance throughout the project timeline.

• Post-migration OLVM healthverification and OLVM production support.

• Standby support duringmigration windows for OLVM platform issues.

6. Assist customer withautomation & monitoring routines for OLVM.

7. Perform duties on supporting operational / technical aspects of the Oracle Linux and OLVM.
