GP Presales Consultant & Product Liaison_Contract Role

About the Role

We are looking for a GP Presales Consultant & Product Liaison to support our GP's growth in the APAC region. This is a hybrid role sitting between client-facing presales/consulting on the GP (investment accounting) product suite, and internal product relay — channeling APAC market and client requirements back to the Product and R&D teams based in France.

You will be the technical and functional voice of GP for APAC prospects and clients, while also acting as the regional advocate ensuring APAC-specific needs are understood, prioritized, and addressed by Product and R&D.

Key Responsibilities

Presales & Consulting (client-facing, APAC)

• Support the sales cycle for GP across APAC: discovery, demos, RFP/RFI responses, proof-of-concepts, and functional/technical workshops with prospects.
• Translate client requirements (portfolio management, investment accounting, fund operations) into GP functional answers and configuration recommendations.
• Act as functional expert during client meetings, addressing questions on GP coverage, data model, and integration capabilities.
• Support existing clients in APAC with functional guidance during onboarding or evolution projects, in coordination with local consulting/delivery teams.

Product Liaison (internal, APAC ↔ Product/R&D)

• Collect, structure, and prioritize APAC-specific product requirements (regulatory, market practice, client feedback) and relay them to the GP Product Management and R&D teams in France.
• Communicate in French with Product and R&D stakeholders to ensure APAC needs are accurately understood and factored into the roadmap.
• Provide regular feedback loops between APAC field teams (sales, consulting) and central product teams on release content, gaps, and enhancement requests.
• Contribute to APAC-specific documentation (functional notes, regulatory mapping, competitive positioning) to support both sales and product teams.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in a presales, consulting, or business analyst role within portfolio management / investment accounting / asset management software (buy-side, fund administration, or Transfer Agent ecosystem experience is a plus).
• Strong functional knowledge of GP — data model, core workflows, and typical client use cases.
• Professional fluency in French, required for daily communication with Product and R&D teams in France.
• Fluency in English, required for client-facing work across APAC.
• Comfortable engaging with both business and technical stakeholders (client operations teams, IT, product managers, developers).
• Strong communication and synthesis skills — able to turn field feedback into structured product input.
• Willingness to travel within APAC and to France
